Our Partners

The International Writers’ House in Beirut belongs to a network of similar international writers’ houses and will work in collaboration with several cultural and academic institutions dedicated to contemporary literature research and cultural institutions and foundations in Lebanon.

Belonging to a network of similar international houses paves the way for contacts with the entire world, and to the growth of Beirut’s literary reputation. The French Institute, the Cervantes Institute, the Swiss and Canadian Embassies in Lebanon, MEET (Maison des Écrivains Étrangers et Traducteurs) in Saint-Nazaire, MRL (Maison de Rousseau et de la Littérature) in Geneva, MEL (Maison des Ecrivains et de la Littérature) in Paris, the Marelle residence in Marseille, and the “Maison Julien Gracq” already support the mission of the International Writers’ House in Beirut.

In addition, the British Council, the Department of French Studies at the Charles de Gaulle University - Lille III (Université Charles-de-Gaulle - Université Lille III), the Interdisciplinary Centre for Literature Studies Aix-Marseille University (Université d'Aix-Marseille), the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences at the Saint Joseph University in Beirut and Air France are in support of the project.
